Today we made danmalas based on the work of artist, Kathy Klein. We noticed that the patterns in her work used circles that were tiny in the middle of the design, and got bigger as they moved further out. There were also patterns in the colours and sizes of flowers that she used. We made our own danmalas using flowers and natural materials we found around school!
