P6/7 have been learning about area, so headed outside today to measure some larger areas in our school setting. To warm our brains up we sorted some numbers by properties and then split into small groups. We worked together in our small groups to measure the length and breadth using metre sticks and gained experience using a trundle wheel. We even worked as a full class team to work out the playground area, which was a composite shape. Great work and super teamwork.
