We have had lots of fun doing our Number work in a practical way. This week P1 have worked on numeral formation, using sand and shaving foam to trace the numerals 1, 2 and 3.
P2 have been looking at larger quantities and discussing how to count them. We realised that we needed to set objects out in an orderly way so we didn’t miss any or count some twice. We also talked about how, if we set the objects out in pairs, we can count in 2’s.
