It's been a busy few weeks in P4/5 with the children helping to prepare for the Christmas Fayre and Opening Evening. We enjoyed a trip to W5 this week and took part in the Daily Mile Santa Run.
Our literacy focused on writing and editing our letters to Santa, weekly comprehension activities and learning about Advent.
We continued working on money during numeracy to calculate the total and started to work on calculating the change. We have made really good progress and will continue to develop our skills during free time and extension activities in our class shop. We also played bingo on Friday afternoon to develop a quick recall of our mental maths.
The class had a special delivery from the North Pole on Thursday morning as Buddy the Elf appeared in our Christmas tree! It looks like P4/5 have an extra set of eyes on them during the lead up to Christmas! 👀
