Last week our literacy focused on writing descriptively about a wizard. The children created a storyboard to map out their ideas and then in pairs they wrote a script which they will use to record their voice to retell their story using Just2easy.
We started work on looking at a 4-point compass to move through a range of directions. We also revised ordering numbers beyond 1000 and revisited money. During our money lesson we worked on calculating the total cost and the change. This linked to our ‘Healthy and Active’ topic as the children used offer sheets to buy healthy items to plan a healthy breakfast, lunch and snack.
We have been working hard to create a leaflet to highlight the benefits of exercising for our physical and mental health as part of our topic work.
We continued to work in pairs using the computers to add our topic presentations using Just2easy.
