P6/7 Victorian Lesson
5th Dec 2025
P6/7 were in for a surprise after lunch when they were greeted by a stern teacher who lined them up in order of height and transported them back to 1891 to a Victorian school. We began by reciting the Lord’s prayer then brushed up on our arithmetic before a handwriting lesson which involved writing on slate and copying cursive writing. We finished the lesson with some drill in the playground and a round of ‘In and out Through the Dusty Bluebells’. The class fully embraced this dramatised lesson and it brought to life their recent learning.
