Our morning got off to a very exciting start when we received a letter from Rick the Ranger from Belfast Zoo. He explained that a friendly bear had gone missing from the zoo and he needed our help to find it! We had to follow lots of clues that used positional/directional language and we eventually found the bear hiding beside the Reco Box. When we got back to the classroom we voted to decide what we should call the bear. We chose the name Zak. We then wrote replies to Rick the Ranger to tell him we had found his bear, and we asked Mrs Whiteside to post them for us. We also went to the other classes and told them about our wonderful day!
